A young medium sweet red wine blend of indigenous grapes of the Mediterranean: Mourvedre, Grenache, Alicante and the local Mavro. The vines grow over calcareous soils on the slopes of South Troodos Mountain range and under the dry and warm climate conditions giving concentrated fruits. This is a fruity wine with aromas of ripe plums and cherries in liquor, and a slightly spicy aroma. Rich and balanced sweetness in the palate. It is pairing with salads, deli products, pickle game poultry and mature cheeses.

Place of Origin: Cyprus
Grape Varieties: Carignan (30%), Mourvedre (30%), Grenache (20%), Mavro (15%), Alicante (5%)
Grape Production area: Limassol
Soil: rendzina, calcareous, shallow and stony, limestone rock
Climate: Mediterranean, mild winters with the majority of the annual rainfall, very hot and dry summers.
Altitude: 650-900 m
Crop: rain-fed
Vineyard age: 20-35 years
Vine training: cup-shape
Grape yield: 3000-5000 kg/ha
Harvest: starts from the end of August until mid October depending of the variety. The harvest is carried out by hand in boxes of 20Kg.
Vinification: Destemming and crushing. Cold maceration for 3-4 days. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-27 C. Short maceration for about 7 days. Malolactic fermentation in tanks. The wine stays with the fine lees for a minimum of 3 months. Finning with vegetable protein and sterile filtration before bottling. Suitable for vegans.
