This is a medium bodied fruity forward style of wine, with aromas of red fruits jam and plums, smooth and tasty in the palate and with certain delicacy and fineness at the finish.
To serve at 16-17 C.

Experimental series PGI wines

This wine is made from the local variety Mavro 100%, selected vineyards at Omodos, over 900 meters of altitude and over 60 years old. This variety has traditionally been used as a table grape, or to make ordinary bulk wines, due to its large berry size, very juicy and thin-skinned, possessing a light color. The objective when making this wine was to rediscover this underestimated variety, giving the consumer a fine quality wine, not forgetting the vocation and potential of this variety: to offer smooth, round and well-balanced wine with all the warm character of the Mediterranean fruits.

Winemaking: pre-fermentative skin contact during 4 days at low temperature followed by a short maceration-fermentation. Aging with lees during 4 months in stain steel tank.

Limited production of 2.200 bottles
